I posted some great packing tips. I can repost if you could use them. Sorry if negative comments about a negative subject turned you off initially, but how about being a member for some time before offering what I'm sure was a well-intentioned critique? I love our list exactly the way it currently is, eBay/packing rants and all. I like knowing I'm not alone in having suffered some of the hazards of collecting fragile things and depending on shipping, like having a support group of sorts. I love being notified of things our members have listed on eBay and other auctions (I can't afford them anyway). A lot of things may seem to go unnoticed here but I doubt it's actually the case. And all the emails I get generally have a signature with the poster's name, so...
You sure you sent your critique to the right list? ;-) Welcome to the list, Ken. Give it some time, I'm sure you'll find lots to praise with a bigger slice of what goes on here. By the way, most of us do know (or eventually come to know) each other's areas of interest, so let me be the first to ask: what's yours?
