If I may direct you to another forum at which I spend a fair amount of time - it is for collectors of "stuff" from the Golden Era, 1920 - 1950. The board is excellent and a lot of the several thousand members exchange photos, advice, etc. every day. You can have a look at the format anyway. I think it is a lot of work to put together. I've often thought it would be excellent for phonographs and once looked into it myself. The software is from VBulletin:
