now, come to think of it, i've encountered plenty of pipers and pipe  
bands on lateral disc, but are there many on cylinder or DD?

it'd be interesting to hear from members who have any.  one would  
think the better quality of the Edison media and recording might let  
bagpipes really sound great compared to acoustic disc.
