I know that I have at least one bagpipe tune on DD - I seem to remember it being inexplicably named "Irish Jig," or something like that. Since bagpipes resemble the sound of a cat being shoved out the airlock of the space shuttle, it's hard for me to imagine much "quality" difference between lateral & DD.
