I believe you can get it in gold finish. I was just at our monthly Golden State Phonograph Society meeting (California Chapter of MAPS) at Ron Dethlefson's home. He demonstrated Dance and Edisonic reproducers on a number of different records so we could all make a comparison for ourselves. He played some wonderful and mint late diamond disc records. It was a great meeting. I believe Ron's reproducers were in gold finish--but can't quite remember. Go to Ron's new website and send him an e-mail (I don't know if he is on the phono-list yet). The website is edisonrecords.com My edisonic reproducer is in nickel--I too would rather have it in gold as in my C250. Good luck. Mike Sorter

I own an Edison C250 machine with gold hardware and I have toyed with the idea of finding a "Dance" reproducer. I would also be interested in any comments you may have regarding this reproducers performance compared to that of the regular Diamond Disc reproducer. Does this reproducer have any specific strengths or weaknesses etc...? I live in England and most Edison stuff beyond the usual Standard and Gem machines and accessories are quite rare over here ! Thank you. Richard Abraham. _______________________________________________ Phono-L mailing list [email protected] Phono-L Archive http://phono-l.oldcrank.org/archive/ Support Phono-L http://www.cafepress.com/oldcrank
