What do you all think about this level of "restoration" in a machine (item #
6621975407on e-bay).

It looks pretty, but does the massive restoration and the repro horn ruin
the true value (historically and monetarily) of the machine?

I'm curious to hear your opinions/comments.

I'm afraid this certainly over-restored machine has lost all the patina and
nostalgia of an original machine. Nevertheless, there will always be those
who would pay a good price for a pretty machine. Historical value and
monetary price are two different things.
