Walt,
You are experiencing one of the Microsoft Outlook features.  The program, 
Outlook, reflows the 
message text when it sends it to the server.  It will format to the setting you 
have set into the 
program.  Usually set for 80 characters.  The problem is that Outlook does not 
show the final format to 
you as you are writing the message.  And when Outlook reflows the message it 
will not continue a 
/Link onto the next line.  So, you end up with a broken link and since a large 
number of people do not 
realise that the vast majority of http URLs end with ".htm"  they can not 
reconstruct the broken link...   
This is a local email program problem and not the Phono-L server.
