HI folks I purchased an upright Victrola X the other day, and when I lifted the motorboard, I found this paper tag lying inside, identifying the finish as fumed oak. There are a lot of other areas for information on it, but sadly none are filled out. I submitted it to Paul Edie of Victrola.com, and he had never seen one either. I am sure Fabrizio and Paul must have seen one at some point, it's probably in one of their books somewhere. I bought the machine for resale at the CAPS show, and though I want to keep the tag, I don't feel I should separate it from the Victrola as it has been inside there for almost a hundred years. Here's the link. I scanned both sides of the tag and arranged them in one picture. http://s197.photobucket.com/albums/aa39/john9ten/Victrola%20ID%20Tag/ John Robles From [email protected] Sun Jul 15 02:19:31 2007 From: [email protected] (Robert Wright) Date: Sun Jul 15 02:21:54 2007 Subject: [Phono-L] Just looking In-Reply-To: <002601c7c683$37870740$6401a...@tonyandjose> Message-ID: <[email protected]>
