It didn't take long for the publicity to have an impact: this compilation of 1890s brown wax recordings of obscene songs and limericks is now ranked #1 in comedy recordings on Amazon, and #44 in CDs of every category. Actually Rene it would have been HIGHER but Amazon sold out of their allotment and wait to buy there is 4-6 weeks. Meanwhile it's cheaper and faster to buy direct from Archeophone. (The fact that Amazon sold out came from the CD's producers). Wonder if it will will a Grammy next year! It is just amazing how many of these crapophone auctions there are in Australia, and Germany seems to be the other big culprit. I think using a "Cut and Paste" job it might be interesting to see if maybe a couple of other guys could list the same info, so that it is a continuly running listing with a couple of examples each week?????? Cheers, Mario PS. Please feel free to "ask seller a question" which will contribute more information to that listed in the auction. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, July 18, 2007 3:16 AM Subject: [Phono-L] Another gem from Mario > Our good friend from Australia has done it again.
