What strikes me is the interior doesn't look good at all. I have had  
at least 22 Amberola 30s in my career and usually the interiors are a  
lot nicer than the exteriors.

It is also a later 30 with the gold nameplate which is more common  
than the earlier ones with the nameplate on the bedplate. The  
nameplate even has a dent in it.

This happens on ebay every once in a while. If you see it go up for  
sale again shortly after this auction by someone else or the same  
bidder who claims the winning bidder did not pay, it means that the  
seller may have had another shill or two falsely bidding it up.
