I just received an Edison Spring Motor phonograph. If there is anyone on
this list that also has one I would like to compare a couple of things. The
serial number on the phonograph is 24090, the serial number on the motor is
2169, and the serial number on the deep dish standard reproducer is NL
10523. The side lever on the reproducer is blank and the serial number is
upside down at the 6 o'clock position. I have never seen one of these up
close and find very interesting the way the whole machine was made. The
face of the upper left casting in front of the manderel feed screw has holes
in the corners as if it should have an ID plate on it. But, it doesn't look
like one was ever on it. There are also some threaded holes in the upper
casting below the pulley that I can't figure out what they are for.

I can be contacted off list at kbab1 at charter.net I can email pictures to
those interested. I am still in need for an original lid for it also. If
anyone has one or knows of one available, please contact me.
