check the lubrication on the vertical screw that holds the over-hanging

If you thought that was neat, look at the rest of his web sight. All kinds
of neat antique cars that he owns repairs and drives. This is the ultimate

Hi Jay, Yes there were 2 Columbia reproducers that said Grand. The smaller one
was called the Grand. The larger one was called the Concert Grand. The early
ones had an ornate face plate. They eventually evolved into the No.5 and No. 6
used on the later horned machines and Grafonolas. Happy Collecting, Harvey

Harvey,
You the man! How could I forget? You ARE the Columbia guy!
A concert grand reproducer came with my B-Y, it looks very orthophonic.
Did the first grand have the mica diaphragm, if so, when did they switch
over?
It's just fine, but I'm wondering what did the later B-Ys come equipped
with?
I know the first machines had the analyzing ones, then changed to the grand
in 1909, any other reproducer changes for the B-Y after that?
Thanks, Jay
