My my, what a rare item, and with no other collectors, and the fact that parts are missing and it looks to the average non-collector like a piece of unwanted junk, or something that could be used as a crude "Boat Anchor", you will have an excellent shot of picking it up for next to nothing !! Good Luck, let us know how you make out. ----- Original Message ----- From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Sent: Saturday, August 22, 2009 12:04:55 PM GMT -05:00 US/Canada Eastern Subject: Re: [Phono-L] Strange cylinder machine at local auction.
OK boys & girs. I went back to auction house and took more pix. The back was loose so I removed it to take motor pic. It indeed has a brass mandrel and carries serial 9272. Here's link to photobucket album. Hope it works here. _http://s261.photobucket.com/al ... ON/Phonos/_ (http://s261.photobucket.com/albums/ii51/TUBADON/Phonos/) Don ps Auction starts tomorrow at noon.
