The Standard E with only the 4 minute gears means that only one set of gear teeth is on the mandrel shaft gear and that the 2 minute gear is missing from the shifter. Conversion will consist of changing the mandrel carriage drive gear to start with. It would be easier to take a Model D or F and put on a large carriage arm for an O Reproducer since they have all the gearing as original. Removing the mandrel gear on an E with only the 4 minute teeth is likely more than the average collector wants to tackle. It is not hard but does require some specialized tools. If the point was to have a Diamond B for 4 minute Blue Amberols and then use an adapter for a Model C for the 2 minute black wax records, then I would say to just buy a Model D on eBay missing the reproducers and wait for a large diameter carriage conversion to pop up.
