That soundbox is correct for this model of YP--- bigger in diameter, with a thumbscrew, and damaskeening behind the diaphragm. That cylindrical contraption attached to the needle bar is nothing I've ever seen and seems to me to be a home handyman adaptation. If anyone else needs pillars like that, let me know, I'm thinking of getting some made. Or perhaps someone has already done it??

A corner column is missing, but a good wood worker can fabricate one. The reproducer is quite unusual. It is larger and has a thumbscrew, rather than a clamp like the typical analyzing reproducer. When you rebuild the reproducer, it will be loud. I have an Aretino machine made by Columbia. It has the exact same case as yours, and the same large reproducer. I love those oddball Columbia machines. Congrats on your machine.
