Mountain Daylight Time, [email protected] writes: A lot of different dealer aids were made by various companies, and Victor ould typically offer them to the dealers at cost. There was a Nipper and ramophone combination on a base that was offered in the 1920s (as seen in he illustration in the auction). The Gramophone being offered in this uction looks like the one from this set, however the Nipper does not appear o be from this set. The set's Nipper has much more detail, especially in he ears. The one in the auction also appears to be slightly larger than he one that came with the set. The seller indicates that the Gramophone is ade of wood, but it is actually some sort of plaster. The horn, crank nd arm support are metal. The missing base is also plaster and the whole hing together is quite heavy. I have attached a photo of the whole thing, and if everything works roperly, you should be able to click a link to see the photo. Thanks. That explains the cobbled look of the thing. And I found it in olfs' book of Nipper Collectibles. --Art Heller ______________________________________________ hono-L mailing list ttp://phono-l.oldcrank.org _______________________________________________ Phono-L mailing list http://phono-l.oldcrank.org
