Allen,The original bidder placed an automatic proxy bid for $1,000. The second guy, who apparently is not knowledgeable at all, kept bidding against the proxy bid until his bid exceeded $1,000. So, it appeared that he was bidding against himself, but in actuality he was bidding against an already placed automatic bid. Luckily for the first bidder, the second guy outbid his ridiculous proxy bid.Curt
