Believe it or not.. When I was living in Guam, the local Ace Hardware carried
piano string wire that I could use for restringing pianos! And our local Ace
in Denver used to carry all kinds of wierd stuff. Now that they have been
acquired by the corporate office, the selection is no better than the other
hardware stores. So much for corporate ownership of local small businesses!

Doesn't your Ace have the Genuine Edison Phonograph Parts endcap? :-)

The seller is highly suspect in all of this. I sent him/her an email about the
elt tension pulley and have not heard back. What I find most enlightening is
hat he/she states they went to ACE Hardware which has replacement belts for $7
but didn't buy one) and leaves it to the buyer of this machine.
How come my ACE Hardware doesn't carry Edison belts?
