It's not a phonograph horn. I think it is an automobile horn from the looks of 
the small end. Also I have seen auto horns with screens but never a phono horn. 
Auto horns have a gradual curve like this one does too, phonograph horns have a 
more pronounced widening of body from nipple to bell. That's my .02.

Subject: [Phono-L] Interesting horn on ebay

An interesting horn has appeared on ebay recently.  But I've never  seen 
anything like it before. It has a screen at the horn opening and I have no  
idea why. Maybe it keeps the moths out. Or maybe it's not a phonograph horn at 
all.  Any thoughts?
