Hi All- Had a friend bring me a Columbia AQ to work on for him. I cleaned it
up-- motor runs great-- base and other parts cleaned up real nice. This is the
first AQ I've had my hands on. Can someone describe and/or send pics of the
connections between horn and half-nut bracket, and the half-nut bracket and
reproducer? The reproducer is the swivel ball type, as is the connection
between horn and bracket. Currently, someone has put small nails in the
connection holes, but the reproducer flops around and won't track properly.
Did the reproducer have a screw like some other floating reproducers? I suspect
a larger pin would remove some of the play in the connections, but would love
to hear from someone that has an AQ and can help me make it right.
Thanks-
Brad
