I have two items for sale today. First, a very respectable Green Oak model A Edison Home Phonograph. This one is complete and runs well. . It plays well through a 2 minute record. This one is as found. It will need some elbow grease to clean it up and adjust it for good playing, but it is all there. The most major objection on the machine is probably the small dent in the backside of the lid. I believe this can be pushed out, but that is up to the new owner. It should make a nice player for someone. It has all of the original parts. It has the original crank that has a small chunk out of the end. It still works very well to crank up the machine and cannot be seen when the crank is installed on the machine. It has a nice model C reproducer that sound very well. It has the desirable banner decal and the early deep green oak finish of 1900/ 1901.
The price is $345.00 plus shipping only to you. No PayPal on this. Pictures available on request. *Next, * a very respectable copy of an 1898 Berliner Record. 346 - Miserere from Il Traovatore by F. Jardella. This record plays with some surface noise, more up front less later. It is free of skips, repeats and cracks. It plays well from beginning to end. There are two very minor needle digs that barely sound and play through well. All in all, this is a respectable example of an early Berliner record. The price is $85.00 plus shipping only to you. No PayPal on this. Pictures available on request Please contact [email protected] with interest. -- Shawn O'Rourke (248) 915 0954 _______________________________________________ Phono-L mailing list http://phono-l.org
