Yes. We were asked by the Gene Autry Museum to restore their Multiphone for
free.   That was a costly eight month project when we did one for Knott's
Berry Farm. We have restored several phonographs for museums and most are
happy to pay and just are just glad to find someone who can do it. We try to
give them a better deal to support them.  Only the larger museums want it
for free. The others do not.

A friend and I tried a few years ago to get the ringling museum in Sarasota
to restore john ringling's auxetphone but they wanted my friend and I to do
all the work and find someone to pay or donate all the parts I felt sad
about this Anyone else run into this attitude
