Hi Loran,

First, I would like to say "Thank You" for maintaining Phono-L, all these
years!

Over the years I've learned a lot and enjoy reading Phono-L emails. I don't
mind signing my name to phonograph groups, It's the way it was in the
past. It is nice to put a name to an email because I was in touch or met some
of these great collectors over the years.

P.S., I hope you and yours had Happy Holidays, too!

I've noted a bit of angst over having to sign our messages in Phono-L. This
came about because major email services (Yahoo, Microsoft, etc.)
implemented tighter measures to reject spam. Basically, if the sender's
email domain does not match the domain of the server sending the email,
they reject it. This resulted in a large number of Phono-L messages being
rejected.

To get around this, I have to mask the sender's email address. Yes, it's a
bummer and inconvenient, but it's the only way to get the emails delivered
at this point.

So please sign your emails as you would a physical letter. Thanks!

Loran (Keeper of the List)

P.S., Happy Holidays to you and yours!
