Those bugs mention that it is linking to the old modules, which may well be the problem. However, there are no .so files in /usr/lib/php. Just a directory called build which does not appear to contain .so files either. If the correct ones are not in /usr/lib/php4, then how can I find out where the correct ones are? Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2003-02-28 20:54:13] [EMAIL PROTECTED] Take a look at bug 21333 and 21825. Does this solve it ? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2003-02-28 20:34:34] nospam_webmaster at greenliquid dot com I have this same problem running under RedHat 8.0 with Apache 2.0.40 and PHP 4.3.1 (which it was just updated to today from 4.3.0Dev) I renamed a simple html file as a php file and it generated the error. Even with no php code in the file. You can see it at: http://www (dot) clearliquid (dot) com/phpinfo.php Scroll to the very bottom. I hope this helps. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2003-02-28 20:06:03] submissions at spherious dot com Unfortunately, I cant to that. I've had to revert back to 4.2.2 for the time being (until this can be sorted out). The machine hosts over 100 web sites, so I can't take the time to re-try this and risk my customers sites not working. Also, I have some customers that require Zend optimizer. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2003-02-28 19:56:47] [EMAIL PROTECTED] Try without Zend Optimizer. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2003-02-28 19:33:35] submissions at spherious dot com I've upgraded to PHP 4.3.1 (from 4.2.2). The install went without a hitch. Now, any php file at all leaves the error i mentioned on the bottom of the page, rendering PHP unusable. By Zend I mean Zend Optimizer v2.1.0. I don't think it is related to the problem. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ The remainder of the comments for this report are too long.
