Description: ------------ This is just a request that the mysqli extension dll be made available for poor windows users (like me) who can't compile their own - at least in the snapshots. Now that mysql has made 4.0 the production, 4.1 is being used for testing here, but having to leave a passwordless root login to get it to work with php is a security risk at best - yes this is interior only test box.. but I'd still like to not have to do it. I'm not sure how the mysqli extension is coming along or if it's even usable, but I know I'd like to get some experience using it, and the features of mysql 4.1.
