This can not be done until licence issues with MySQL are solved. Suspending for now. Now that mysql has made 4.0 the production, 4.1 is being used for testing here, but having to leave a passwordless root login to get it to work with php is a security risk at best - yes this is interior only test box.. but I'd still like to not have to do it. I'm not sure how the mysqli extension is coming along or if it's even usable, but I know I'd like to get some experience using it, and the features of mysql 4.1.
