checking for simplexml support... yes
configure: error: libxml2 version 2.5.1 or greater required.
This is after urpmi the version I had.
This stinks, I don't want to break a ton of dependencies
over a feature I don't even want.
You need to add --leave-xml-the-hell-alone

I was having the same issue this guy was experiencing, but I actually
was recompiling PHP specifically for XML support. Installing
libxml2-devel did the trick!

Given I have submitted my entire configuration, please, tell me what.
The line now reads
