(I tried your script and it worked just fine) --Jani ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2001-04-02 07:26:48] senser at email dot si I have used and tested a script on linux machine with an apache webserver and php4 installed, i got error of a bad file desctiptor in the fopen statement: The code i used is: $page="http://www.feri.uni-mb.si/";; $fp=fopen($page,"r") or die("Error"); when the url was http://www.senser.f2s.com/welcome.html"; (my website) everthing worked fine!
