Hi John
1: get all the relevant O'Reilley books on PHP and the DB you will be using.
2: Grab the 30 day eval of Homesite from www.allaire.com (my personal fav
HTML editor)
3: Forget trying to do WYSIWYG HTML development. You will get a better
product and if you take the time to teach your developers how to code by
hand, they can always use one of the other tools to generate their code.
However, if all they know how to do is use the tool then they aren't really
developers, they are users. :) (No offense meant)
There are several other good tools out there, I'm not trying to start a
Jihad. this one is just my personal favorite and I outfitted my team with
it.
HTH,
Cal

Subject: [PHP-DB] Can you recommend a development tool?
Can anyone out there recommend a graphical development tool (like FrontPage)
that you find useful for developing php-based web pages? I'm looking at how
to empower my staff who are a bit new to all this.
