I'm using linux, apache, php and informix ids.2000. it works quite well for
now, but I want to move the ids.2000 to a different machine for security and
performance reasons.
the ifx_connect (dbname@dbservername,user,pass) I guess wants the
dbservername to reside on the same computer ?
if so, how to I open a connection to mydb@mydbservername, which runs on
myothercomputer.mydomain.com ?
