Just ssh or telnet into your server and download with lynx. It works great! cd to the directory where you want the package lynx http://www.php.net/downloads.php Arrow down to the package you want to download. Type d for download Select Save to disk Hit Enter to accept the suggested filename, or change it as you see fit. Type q for quit, answer y (or enter) to Are you sure. There it is...
