I would really appreciate if you could do that, Rasmus.  you can use
pear/PEAR as a simple template (see the INSTALL file).  shortcomings of
pearize and the current dtd should be adressed to pear-dev, and please
advise that the dtd is still subject to change.  I'll be able to type with
both hands again in two weeks. :-)
