Is there some policy about when it's ok to pick "try newer version (bogus)" from the quick fix bug menu? Is there anyway to automate that, so when people report bugs in 4.0.6 they can immediately get a response telling them to upgrade and see if the problem has been fixed? There are still 484 open bugs for versions 4.0.x.
Given that we now recommend >= 4.1.2 for security, i think we can safely mark all before it as try newer version.
