I think we will still have 4.4.0 before PHP 5. The timeframe between
4.3.0 and 5 is just too large not to have another release.
That's OK. I don't see a problem with having a 4.4.0 if it's needed but that doesn't mean I think work on PHP 5 should start right after 4.3.0. Preferably we'd stick to 4.3.x though.
