There is room for gray areas here too. f.e. Paul can acknowledge that he is willing to work towards adjusting his communication style not because he feels “sorry” but because he feels it would make communication more efficient within this group. BTW of course those who initiated the thread can of course also decide to adjust the way they “parse” Paul’s messages. Fundamentally I doubt that Paul gets up in the morning pondering how to make the lives of other FIG members hell. And I doubt that those FIG members get up in the morning planning how they can humiliate Paul in public.
