Your condescending post was not a help. :) However, since you addressed me 
I will respond. I was referring to the Secretaries description of duties 
where I see no mention of the sort of lobbing Michael is doing for FIG 3.0.

I know this is a bit of a tricky area because Michael has played such an 
active role in 3.0, for which I am grateful. However, as I said in private 
communication with Michael, if he desires to continue playing such an 
active role perhaps he should step down as Secretary to help usher in this 
new era, then pick up being Secretary again at the next 
opportunity...pending nomination and voting.
