Where does PHP.net stand? Is it GNU or OpenSource or both? What's the difference between www.GNU.org and www.OpenSource.org? I have been reading: http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/opensources/book/intro.html but don't get what DiBona, Ockman & Stone mean. OpenSource permits folks like RedHat to distribute a paid CD, GNU doesn't? OpenSource permits greating a module or plugin to work with a Microsoft product and GNU doesn't?
