I still don't believe that. The only reason an IP would change is if the user dials up again.


Using IP-restricted cookies will not break anything while the person is on the site. It will, however, not work if the user disconnects, then dials up again as they *will* have a different IP.

This is true of Cable users as well as their IP *may* change at any time (although it doesn't often if you leave your computer on most of the time).
