In addition to what everyone else has said, and in case you're not aware of it, this type of response to spam / junk mail does two things. First, it confirms for the spammer that your address is valid - ie. Potential target for mass marketing. Second, it encourages the spammer to spam you as much as possible.
Of course, this is all assuming the spammer provides a valid reply to address, which most of them don't. Anyway, don't respond to spam. -Ed > -----Original Message----- > From: Josh Acecool M [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Friday, August 06, 2004 12:28 PM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: [PHP] Re: IMPORTANT: Please Verify Your Message > > Stop E-Mailing me. > http://www.acecoolco.com/legal.php > -- PHP General Mailing List (http://www.php.net/) To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php
