Yes. It does depend on the university though. For our students, the default is only 50 megs - they may request more. However, these text- only emails don't really take up that much space.


Cuz I *DO* remember the days when the email quotas a University would
have prohibited subscribing to PHP mailing list...

This is not currently the case.....


Surely in this day and age, the quotas aren't *that* restrictive...
