That is correct, I do not want to buy Flash, yet. Since Flash is a big
investment, I want to see how well the game does before I decide to buy Flash.
I intend to use PHP to generate the SWF file. The examples in
http://www.gazbming.com/ are exciting, but I can't find an example of
generating a sound when a certain event happens in the movie, such as two
objects colliding. There isn't an API to do this. I'll put together a script
tonight as a starting point.
I mentioned Java because I can develop the game in Java, but I am not satisfied
with using Java because of the issues I mentioned.
