The more experienced you become, the more you'll see M$ for what it is. They are concerned about the bottom line and nothing else.

If complying to standards serves their interest, then they will. However if they can figure out a way to make money by not complying, then they won't.

One can say that all companies are concerned about the bottom line, but not all companies rate that at the expense of everything else.
