Well... don't forget that Mac OS X is Unix. Though the Adobe software for Mac OS X only runs with Aqua, the display layer of OS X (won't work with xwindows). Actually, IIRC there is at least one piece of non-OS X unix software made by Adobe. I think they have a version of FrameMaker for Unix, for writing SGML documents and whatnot.
