a form with two buttons:
<form action="script.php" method="post">
<input type="submit" name="button" value="option 1" />
<input type="submit" name="button" value="option 2" />

if($_POST['button'] == "option 1")
    echo "option 1 was clicked";
elseif($_POST['button'] == "option 2")
    echo "option 2 was clicked";

I think there's an issue with what happens if they hit enter (which value
get submitted? option1 or option2? But you should be able to do some
testing pretty quick on that, and choose the order of the buttons.

Everything above is not tested of course.
