Hi, I hope this is not too off-topic. Since encoding conversion functionality is mostly not enabled by default in PHP (cf. ASP), I've looked for a shared host with PHP compiled for mbstring, iconv, or Recode, preferrably in North America. Since this is for a personal project, budget is fairly limited.
