05132005 0913 GMT-6 Recently I have had trouble my site looking right in different browsers. And I have been reading about similar problems on so many different groups I belong. Well, this morning on PCMech I read about this site titled www.browsercam.com. What they do is, they take a screen shot of your web page on different OS and different browsers so you can see how it looks on platforms that you are not testing on. I have Mozilla, Firefox, IE and Opera on XP but I dont have access to Linux or Mac to test on.
Now, I have to say that they do charge a fee. They have daily, monthly and yearly price plans. If you are a professional developer this might be a smart investment. Its about $20 for a single days use. So, as Im done with all my php and got my site looking like I think I want it, I guess I would pay for to make sure it looks good on all platforms. It unlimited use for the day. Anyway, I thought I would pass it along. If anyone goes ahead and uses the site, please tell us what you think. I dont have any reason to waste $20 right now but I will later.
