I have a Browsercam account that I use occasionally to check fairly
complicated layouts, and I must say that at $10 a pop, it's well worth
the cost. You can sign up for an account and give them a credit card
number, and they'll only charge the card when you actually submit a
URL. Then, for the next hour or so, you can continue to send them URLs
at no additional charge. Of course, if you submit something in the
morning, then go back later in the afternoon and submit again, you'll
be charged again. So I tend to gather up my URLs and submit them all
within the space of an hour, or if I'm only doing one site, I'll
submit, fix, submit, fix, and resubmit until it's fixed, which usually
takes less than an hour to do.
Overall: well worth it. And you can always pass the cost along to the
client, or write it off as a business expense, if you're set up to do
that. :-)
