Sorry for the OT-ness of the question. I have a server question
regarding bandwidth that I'm hoping to get some educated feedback on.
Please respond to me OFF-LIST at bobsawyer /at/ gmail /dot/ com and if
anyone is interested I'll communicate what I learn with them offlist as
well.
SO, here's my question: is there any difference, bandwidth-wise, in
downloading an MP3 or movie versus streaming it to the browser via an
embedded player, such as a Flash-based MP3 player object? If the MP3 is
3.0 MB in size, the server gets popped for 3MB of bandwidth either way,
right?
Thanks,
-Bob
