I have a strange on-going problem that I can't find a solution to.

PHP hangs from time to time. The error is always "Maximum execution
time of 30 seconds exceeded".

This happens on many (but by no means all) pages on our Web site,
and on each page it is always on the same line. But the code on that
line is not a problem (in some cases, it is HTML, not PHP code).

We are running Windows Server 2000, IIS 5.0, PHP 4.3.10, and Access
database. (Yea, I know, LAMP works better.)

This Web site has run for several years before this started.

And, the problem seems to be worse with Mozilla-based browsers than
with IE.

Does anyone have ideas of where we should look to solve the problem?

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,
Chris Wood
