Hi Bob

i am using php's ftp command to connect to his server. since posting
this i have found snippets of info i have managed to cobble together.

i decided to change (at friends request) the input method. i now add the
link to a database.

once all the links are in, clicking a button will then generate the new
html page which will then be uploaded to his server.

i can do most of it, but am stuck on a few points. it gets easier trust
me : )

links are added on a daily basis. sometimes 4 or 5 per day. so say today
was friday the 5th, i would like the links added on that day to be
outputted like so
-------------------------------------
(month here)

Friday 5th
link 1
    a little comment
link 2
    a little comment
link 3
    a little comment
-------------------------------------

when the day turns over to saturday it would then output saturdays links
like so
-------------------------------------
(month here)

Saturday 6th
link 1
    a little comment
link 2
    a little comment
link 3
    a little comment

Friday 5th
link 1
    a little comment
link 2
    a little comment
link 3
    a little comment
-------------------------------------

i hope i have descibed myself better than before.

kind regards
